WELCOME FROM REVEREND DR DAVID HART

From the Minister of St Andrews, The Reverend Dr David Hart

Welcome to the website of St Andrews Church in Mevagissey. Mevagissey is a Cornish fishing port, located about five miles south of St Austell, and is a very popular tourist and holiday centre on a beautiful part of the south Cornish coast.

Our weekly worship is led by a variety of preachers and every month, we share in the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. Our worship services reflect our shared inheritance. In addition, we host a variety of activities, including the Mevagissey Male Voice Choir and the Mevagissey Ladies Choir who use our premises for rehearsals and the occasional concerts. We have a weekly coffee morning and all are welcome to drop in for a chat. We have an active Art Group that offers an opportunity for artists of all abilities and working in all sorts of media to explore their creativity in a friendly and encouraging environment.

You will find full details of our worship and other activities on the ‘events’ page. We hope that is you join us for worship or come to any of our activities you will feel a welcome and a blessing: we certainly look forward to welcoming you and being blessed by your coming!

Best wishes

David Hart

Minister
