Click on the link above for details of Thy Kingdom Come Prayer Initiative
The Thy Kingdom Come prayer initiative began on Ascension Day. During this period between Ascension and Pentecost we remember that the disciples ‘devoted themselves constantly to prayer’. So, during this period, we are called to pray that more people will come to know and love Jesus Christ. This year, we are invited to select five people we know and to pray in particular for them.
Of course, there is absolutely no reason why you cannot take part in this initiative on your own in your own time but many of us find it more meaningful if we know that we are sharing in this special time with others.
You may wish to join in as part of a group. We shall be using a Prayer Journal called The Father’s Love. Note that it lasts for 11 days, not 10 – as there is a page for Pentecost itself. You can download a copy at https://www.thykingdomcome.

The material for each day will be circulated by e-mail every morning, between 10 and 11 am. Those who wish to take part as a group will meet at 6 pm for half an hour, to read and briefly discuss the Bible passage and to pray together. You can do this via Zoom if you wish, using the invitation that will be sent to you, or at home.
A link for a copy of the wording on the introductory page of the booklet is at the top of this page.
